Hi Charleen,

To get you started, there is an entire page of resources on Orgainc Food in our Opposing Viewpoints database.

Also, There is an Organic Food Overview from the Points of View database: On the right, note that there are additional related items including a point/counterpoint that argues for and against organic foods.

Here is another good background article from the Gale Virtual Reference Library database.

We also have several print and electronic books in our catalog that focus on the food supply. Here are a few of the more recently published books:

Food / Christina Fisanick, ed.

Encyclopedia of organic, sustainable, and local food / Leslie A. Duram, ed.

Citizen farmers : the biodynamic way to grow healthy food, build thriving communities, and give back to the Earth / by Daron "Farmer D" Joffe

If you don't find what you are looking for in these sources, please make an appointment with a librarian at either campus for more individual assistance.
