Q

Would I be able to look at a reserved book for a little while?

Would I be able to check out and look at one of the reserved for a little while and return it when I'm finished looking at it? I just want a few minutes with it.

Answer

Hello Emily,

If you are asking about access to a textbook on reserve at either campus library, the answer is yes; that is, in fact, how it works. Go to the library/LRC on whichever campus your class meets and ask whether or not your textbook is already included within the reserve collection. If it is, you are allowed to check out the textbook for use in the library for a loan period of two hours. You may duplicate pages from the textbook if you wish. Please be sure to bring a valid photo ID which will be kept behind the reference desk until you return the book.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
