Q

Can I extend the book's rental life?

The book that I rent from Ohlone Library will due on Nov 14. But I don't want to give this book back since I have an assignment to do with this book. I want to request the librarian to extend the rental life of this book. Can I?

Answer

You can renew the book online.

Go to: http://catalog.ohlone.edu/vwebv/searchBasic?sk=en_US

Click on the "My Account" tab near the top of the page.

Log in with your 7 digit student ID number and last name.

You will get to a screen that shows all the materials that you have checked out.

Click on "Request Renewal"

If no one is waiting for the book you should have no trouble renewing the book for an additional 3 weeks.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
